Devon Mind secures funding to support physical activity and wellbeing strategy

Devon Mind is celebrating after being awarded £15,000 of National Lottery funding from Sport England to support our on-going focus on physical activity and movement over the next 12-months. This grant will allow Devon Mind to offer a wide range of physical wellbeing activities tailored for individuals facing mental health challenges. With a focus on holistic wellbeing, we will be delivering sessions designed to boost mood, reduce stress, and improve overall mental health. We will continue to work closely with our external partners to deliver a wide range and choice of activities.

We are very grateful to the National Lottery and Sport England for supporting our physical activity for wellbeing agenda. We believe that an active lifestyle is integral to mental health, and we are dedicated to creating programs that harness the benefits of exercise to improve the mental wellbeing of our community members.
— Oliva Craig, CEO

We particularly welcome people who have never accessed physical activities in this way before’. We are currently recruiting a new member of the team to support our work with this project.
