We’ve been chosen as charity of the year by RGB Building Supplies!

We are very excited to announce that respected local builders’ merchant RGB Building Supplies has selected Devon Mind (alongside our colleagues at Cornwall Mind and Mind in Somerset) as its charity of the year for 2021—22!

Over the next 12 months, RGB will be organising various fundraising events to help raise money for the fight for mental health here in Devon.

Devon Mind’s Marketing & Fundraising Officer Andre Pusey stated: “We are extremely grateful and super excited to have been chosen by RGB Building Supplies as its charity partner for the upcoming year. As a well-known, widely respected merchant with branches across Devon, RGB will provide us with vital new opportunities to help increase awareness and raise funds to aid the fight for mental health in our amazing county. We can’t wait to get started and look forward to meeting staff and customers as soon as possible!”

Mike Curtis, Branch Manager at RGB’s Torquay branch, added: “The COVID-19 pandemic has had an extremely negative impact on the mental health of some of those in our region, and over the past 18 months Devon Mind has seen the number of people using its services grow exponentially. We’re delighted to be supporting the charity by committing to raise money to help it supply life-saving services. We know it’s a cause our customers will get fully behind and, at the outset, we want to thank everyone who helps us with our fundraising.”

RGB’s branches in Cornwall will be supporting Cornwall Mind, and its Wellington and Wiveliscombe branches will be supporting Mind in Somerset.
