Are you looking for an exciting new role supporting people to improve their mental wellbeing? We are currently looking for a full-time Recovery Practitioner with the right skills and experience to join our team.
About the role:
Recovery Practitioners offer support to people in Devon experiencing a variety of mental health difficulties, working with people to improve their emotional wellbeing and develop additional coping skills, that in turn enable people to work towards their goals and support their recovery.
This role is responsible for providing 1:1 and group support for users, with a specific focus on providing a conduit between statutory services (GPs, primary care networks, etc.) and community provision. Training is provided, so while applicants will ideally have experience of support work and/or an understanding of relevant interventions to support people with complex needs, we’re keen to hear from people who have transferrable skills and behaviours.
We are looking for people with experience of working in a person-centred, solution focused role with people from all walks of life who are seeking opportunities that will have positive outcomes for their mental health. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in an innovative and impactful organisation that will make a genuine difference to people across Devon.
