Wellbeing Walk & Talk
Taster walks in partnership with the South West Coast Path Association
Activity overview:
We are really excited to announce that we are partnering with the South West Coast Path Association to offer a number of Wellbeing Walk & Talk taster sessions across the Plymouth area, as an extension of our Mindful Movement project. Spending time in nature can benefit both mental and physical wellbeing; research has shown that it can improve mood, reduce stress, improve confidence and self-esteem, reduce loneliness, and help connect with your local community.
Join us to explore the stunning heritage, wildlife, and views on the coast path around Plymouth. These walks are designed for anyone looking to discover more of Plymouth’s coastline in the company of others. All abilities are welcome and there will be plenty of breaks for rest and refreshments along the way.

Taster sessions format:
Each monthly taster session will feature a guided accessible route that is well connected by public transport. The Wellbeing Walk & Talks are facilitated by the South West Coast Path Association and members of the Devon Mind team will also be in attendance. Due to the nature of the coast path, participants are recommended to wear loose, comfortable clothing and supportive shoes, and to bring along a drink or water bottle. Dogs are also very welcome to join the walk. Sessions are free to attend — registration is required to join. Please note: These sessions are likely to be in popular demand, so please ensure that you are able to attend before signing up.
